| Hi guys,
Jess from Sydney, Australia here.
Currently working my butt off in Sydney and saving my pennies to buy a family members unused and undeveloped bush block from him and have a totally off-the-grid house designed and eventually become an owner-builder... the intention is to be working 8 months of the year contracting and saving up and building on the block the remaining 4 months.
The aim is to have it as a weekender but also a place to relax and go through 'de-citying' for family and friends. I will end up living out there eventually but it's a long-term dream for the moment.

| Hi Guys,
I haven't posted for ages, had an unexpected health issue, but on the up and up now.
My other half and i are planning on building on our little farm sometime in the near future. We are having to change our plans a bit and will need to just get someone else to do the building now. We are semi self sufficient with our food, but would like to be more so.
Jess, your plan sounds great, hope you get to start soon.
Hi Devin, are you already living the dream, or are you like a lot of us and still in the planning stage/

| Hey Jess, Devin and 1wilson. Jess and Devin, so glad to have you here. Your plans sound really exciting Jess. It's cool that you already have a property and plan in mind. 1wilson, I hope you are okay now. Building can be physically straining when you are recovering. | |
